Our Price Promise

Trust and Loyalty Are in Our Blood

A promise from our family in Surat to your family in the United Kingdom: you pay the same factory price our customers pay in India. Not a penny of extra margin. Ever.

Same saree. Same price. Same love.

We did not open Vastranand UK to earn more from you. We opened it so the sarees of home could reach you without traders, importers and markups standing in between. The price you see is the price of home.

Vastranand artisans handcrafting sarees at our Surat factory

We are not resellers. We are the makers.

Every Vastranand saree begins its life in our own factory in Surat, India — in the hands of weavers, dyers and embroiderers who have devoted their lives to this craft. Since 2017 our family has built everything under one roof: the looms, the printing, the embroidery, the finishing.

So when a saree leaves Surat for London, Leicester or Birmingham, it does not pass through a single middleman. It travels one journey — from our factory floor to your front door.

The usual way

Factory → exporter → importer →
wholesaler → boutique → you

By the time an imported saree reaches a UK shop window, its price is often 5–7 times what the maker was actually paid.

The Vastranand way

Our factory → your door

One journey. One honest price. The same factory price as India — because you are not a market to us. You are family.

The only things added to the India price

Selling across two countries carries a few costs no honest business can avoid. We keep them as small as possible — and we list them openly, because trust is built in the open:

1 · Indian Government GSTThe goods tax charged by the Government of India on every sale.
2 · Pick, Pack & ExportInternational orders need careful packing, export paperwork and time to reach you safely.
3 · Currency ExchangeConverting rupees to pounds carries bank and exchange costs on every order.
4 · Tax in Both CountriesTax is paid twice — in India and in the UK. UK VAT is already included in every price you see.

A small number of products may show a minor difference where fabric, size or finishing differs — the promise never changes.

What we will never add

Retail margin Brand markup Middlemen commission “International” premium

A letter to our UK family

You may live far from home — but home has never left you. We see it in every wedding, every Diwali, every Navratri celebrated across the UK with the same joy as in India.

When you drape a Vastranand saree, you are wearing the same threads your mother and grandmother loved, woven by the same hands, at the same price as if you had walked into our shop in Surat yourself. That is not a marketing line. That is a family keeping its word.

Trust is not built with words. It is built by keeping a promise, order after order, year after year. This is ours — and it is written in our blood, not just on this page.
