Vastranand is one family with two companies — a mother company in India that owns the brand and makes every saree, and a UK company that serves you here in Britain. This page explains exactly how it works, in plain English.
The mother company — Vastranand Pvt Ltd (India)
Vastranand was founded in 2017 in Surat, India by brothers Jigar and Ravi Viradiya, starting from a tiny 160 sq. ft. shop in Surat's Vankar Textile Market. Today the mother company owns the Vastranand brand and all of its designs, and runs a 30,500 sq. ft. factory in Sachin GIDC, Surat — the heart of India's textile industry.
Every saree we sell is designed, woven, printed, finished and quality-checked there, by the same family company that created the brand. Nothing is outsourced to unknown suppliers.
The UK company — VASTRANAND UK LTD
VASTRANAND UK LTD is the official UK arm of the Vastranand family, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17072515) with its office in Harrow, London.
When you shop at vastranand.co.uk, your purchase is from VASTRANAND UK LTD — a British company. That means you pay in pounds, you are fully protected by UK consumer law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015), and your returns and support are handled in the UK.
How your order works, step by step
- You order on vastranand.co.uk and pay securely in pounds (£).
- The order goes to our family factory in Surat, India.
- Your saree is prepared — made, quality-checked and carefully packed at the factory.
- It ships directly from the factory to your door, fully tracked, typically arriving in around 10 days.
